Civil Process Service Fees

State law or county ordinance sets the fee that is charged for our services. Checks or money orders for fees should be made payable to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Basic service fees:   $50.00                                       
Three or more people at the same address:   $34.00 (added per person)
Enforcement of Writ:   $89.00                                     
Sheriff's Deed & Certificate of Redemption or conveyance of real property (Certificate of Sale):  $56.00

• Per ORS 21.300: (1) The sheriff of a county shall collect
  the following fees in civil actions, suits and proceedings
  for each case delivered to the office of the sheriff:

Writs 

Writ of Garnishment $25
Writ of Execution in Judgment of Restitution plus fees outlined under "Notice Process" above (Please note that "et al" or "All Other Occupants" is a party to be served):  $89.00 plus fees outlined under "Notice Process"

Enforcement Actions

Property seizure, writ, or order of assistance, or writ of execution: $89.00 

Deposit Required On Real/Personal Property:

• Real Property: $650
• Personal Property: $1,200

Mileage 

           In excess of 75 miles roundtrip     $50.00

Conveyance of Real Property 

Sheriff’s Deed, Certificate of Sale:  $56.00
