Passport Renewals
Jefferson County Clerk's Office does not process passport renewal applications. Clerk's Office does not have photo services.
You must renew by mail if all of the following are true:
- You can submit most recent U.S. passport book and/or card with application
- You were at least 16 years old when most recent U.S. passport book and/or card was issued
- You were issued your most recent U.S. passport book and/or card less than 15 years ago
- The U.S. passport book and/or card that you are renewing has not been mutilated, damaged, lost, stolen or subsequently found
- Your U.S. passport has not been limited from the normal ten year validity period due to damage, multiple thefts/losses, or non-compliance
- You use the same name as on your most recent U.S. passport book and/or card -OR-
- You have had your name changed by marriage or court order and can submit proper certified documentation to reflect name change
Passport Fees (Renewals Only) Payable to U.S. Department of State:
- U.S. Passport Book - Adults Renewal: $130.00
- U.S. Passport Card - Adults Renewal: $30.00
- Expedite Processing (2-3 weeks): $60.00
- Overnight Delivery Return (Book only) $19.53
