Placing Money on an Inmate's Account

Bringing Items In For an Inmate

We do not accept any personal items for inmates. Inmates may, under special circumstances, request permission from the Jail Commander to have items brought in and placed in their property. These requests must be in writing and approved prior to the items being brought to the facility.

Phones

Inmates who have not lost the privilege due to disciplinary action generally have access to telephones from 8am to 10pm each day. Our phone system allows inmates to make collect calls or use company specific calling cards. These cards must be purchased through commissary and are $20 each. This will allow the inmate to make $20 worth of calls. Depending on where the inmate is calling to will determine the length of time that dollar amount will purchase. Phone calls are limited to 15 minutes. The phone system will warn you when the time limit is approaching, and will disconnect after that time has past.

Commissary

Inmates are allowed to purchase up to $60 of commissary items each week. This amount does not include telephone calling cards. Commissary includes hygiene items such as deodorant, shampoo, toothpaste, etc; Miscellaneous items such as envelopes, games, cards, etc.; Medical items such as over-the-counter medications, various lotions, denture supplies, contact supplies, etc.; and Snacks such as candy, coffee, chips, and jerky. Inmates with money on their accounts are eligible to buy commissary items. The orders are placed on Sundays and the items are received on Thursday.
